So a man in our building made an interesting comment in the elevator yesterday...saying I sure got a lot of exercise...implying that my humans take me out a lot.
Hmmm...how much going out is too much??
See, I live in an apartment building, I don't have the luxury of a backyard for a quick piddle. So when I do go out, it's usually for a quality walk.
I go out a minimum of three times a day. Morning, midday and evening. Each walk is a minimum of 20 minutes, but in the evening, I'm out for at least 45 minutes...if it's nice, or we go to the dog park..it can be longer.
Also, depending on how active I was in the evening, I may get one more quickie walk just before my humans go to bed.
So I mean, really, that's only like 2 hours of being outside. In a 24 hour day. Am I crazy? My human "mom" wishes I could be outside more! If only she didn't have that whole "work" thing to do every day.
I'd love to hear your comments on the subject.

How Much is Too Much?
Product Review: Kyjen Hide-A-Bird Animal Puzzle Plush Dog Toy

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this toy!!!
It's a great interactive toy for that intellectual pup who likes to problem solve. Plush birdhouse, with three little squeaky birds included, provides lots of enjoyment in getting the birds out, maybe putting them back in and just having fun!
Check me out, playing with my new toy:

Product Review: Trixie and Peanut Sleeping Bag Bed
This awesome little bed was specially designed for pets that like to burrow under the covers, like me! It is lightweight, made of cozy fleece and nylon, is reversible, 100% machine-washable and just perfect for the crate, or pet on the go!
I love my Sleeping Bag Bed!
The Sleeping Bag Bed is available in three colour combinations: orange nylon with grey fleece, pink nylon with chocolate brown fleece and black nylon with black fleece. It is available in Small, Medium + Large to accommodate pets of all sizes. A Trixie + Peanut exclusive.
Special shout out to my pal Gibbon who shipped this to me from their NYC flagship store!
Actor Ving Rhames' dogs possibly maul man to death
Another sad day...Bull Mastiff's, belonging to actor Ving Rhames have apparently mauled a man to death at his home in Los Angeles. The man, Jacob Adams was the caretaker for the dogs. It's still unknown if the dogs bites caused the death, or if the man died of heart failure due to the attack.
Rhames was not home at the time.
Our hearts go out to the family of Jacob Adams, and to the Mastiffs...whose time with us will probably come to an end.
So PLEASE if you are going to own a large or bully breed dog, take the time, learn about your breed and provide proper and consistent training to have a balanced, well mannered dog, so tragic incidents like this don't occur again.

Tip of the Day
Don't try to pee uphill!!
I did it twice today!! First stop, fence post on a bit of an incline...I lift my leg to go..and lose my balance...whooops...looks like I've had one to many Stella's!
Well don't I see a tree, again on a little mound of dirt and attempt to do the same thing! My human got a kick out of that! Sheesh...

Long weekend: Blogging sporatically
Hey everyone, it's a long weekend here in Canada...so I'll be out and about...and may not get much blogging done.
I had my yearly check up this morning at the vet. I got a clean bill of health, some shots in my bum, and some yummy treats for being a good boy! :o)
I'm a whopping 23.5lbs!! But my vet said I was full of muscle. BUT, I do have to watch my cookie consumption....my metabolism will start to slow down, and I may pack it on if I'm not careful. Lucky for me, my humans exercise me a lot! I go out 3-4 times a day! At least one of those walks is a minimum of 45 minutes! So I'm very active.
Anyway, I've been at the dog park for two hours, I'm pooped...need a wee cat nap (har-har).
