Fast n' Furry: Monday Recap!

My human gramma came out to see me today! She took some pictures of HM and I..but she's not too proficient with email..so I have to wait until she develops them to post.

I did barrel racing again today and for our intro, I got to run through tunnels!!

Then more crating while HM helped set up courses between shows. HM was getting frustrated that I won't settle down and rest between shows like the other dogs...but it's all so new and exciting to me!! She has to learn to be more patient!

Fast n' Furry: Saturday Recap!

The excitement was almost too much to bare. Arrival to the event, quick sniff of some other dogs and HM sets up the dreaded crate area.

SHOW 1
We were only scheduled for the rapid tug intro at the start of the show. It happened so fast that I didn't even notice the crowd.

The more experienced dogs started going through their agilty/flyball game routines. I got sent to my crate. :o(

Although HM is working on this with me...I'm still not comfortable being left in it in strange places. So I barked the whole time.

When the show was over I got to run through the performance area again in the exit line with the other dogs. Then we had kids come in the ring to meet and greet us!! I even gave a little girl my "pawtograph"!!

HM was VERY proud of me! I let little kids come and pet me, and HM answered questions about me!

SHOW 2
I did the rapid tug intro again which went well. Then I got to do a little solo of the obedience and tricks I know while the next session of agility got set up.

The meet and greet is really cool! I gave out my "pawtograph" to a lot of kids this time!

HM is still trying to crate me in between shows...but I'm not doing well with that at all. I'm a work in progress.

SHOW 3
My time to shine...I was doing barrels in my last show...and guess what? I was so tired that I forgot what I was doing and just kept looking at HM!! Jeez...but I did ok! I'm one TIRED pooch!!

Top it all off..HM and I took the subway home! That was fun. I got to sit in her lap the whole way home!

Day 1 was long and tiring..so I'm off to bed now!!

Fun Manchester Videos

I really like this video. These pups have a great looking backyard!

If you ever wondered what it was like to play with a Mannie, this is a great example. Even when one looks like it wants a break...the other is there...to pester and bug!! Tee hee! Typical terrier!

Enjoy!

A Merryvaluation of Pop Dog Portraits!

Hey pups, just a quick brag for HM...her portraits have been reviewed at the Pampered Puppy website!! She is just sooo excited!! She painted a portrait of the owners wonderful princess pug, Merry. Click HERE to read the review!

Great Crate!

So now that I'm getting into dog sports, HM realized she didn't want to drag my huge wire crate around all the time, so she's found me a great alternative. The fold up travel crate!

It's great, she says it folds up in a snap, is light to carry, and best of all....I actually like it! ;o) Don't I look cute?

Goose Poop Buffet is Officially Open!

Spring has sprung pups!! Know how I know??

The arrival of the Canada Goose! Back home from its winter down south. The grass is starting to peek out from the melting snow, and the geese are now making their home in any open field!!

Mmmmm-mmmm-mmmm...wherever a goose has gone....great goose poop has been left behind!

This is the WORST time of year for HM to walk me. Nose to the ground, feverishly picking up the scent, she's trying to keep me on the sidewalk so I don't go grazing.

I ask you...what little pleasures nature leaves us...why can't we partake in them?

Happy Birthday to Me!

Well today pups, I celebrate my SECOND Birthday! So Happy Birthday to me! BOL! As you know I got a cool new bed, and I'm sure HM will be coming home with some yummy treats after work for me!

I get to go romp at the dog park today as it's my usual day with my dog walker Trish. What a pawfect birthday!

For a little history on me and where I came from, check out my breeders website for pics of my doggie pawrents, Jazzy & D'Artagnon (and some puppy pics of me!).

Here's a snapshot of my life in the last two years:

My first night home. With my uncle Marlie.

Here I am again on that first night. Hiding under the table.

Me lookin' all gangsta in my hoodie!

Playing tug with a facecloth!

Hooking up with some of my Mannie friends at the beach last summer. (I'm on the right).

New Bed!

WOW! Can't believe it's been so long since my last post! Not much happening here...practicing some stuff I learned at the FNF practice, romping at the park with my pup pals, looking cute, hehe...the usual! ;o)

Soooooo...this coming Monday is a very special day...."somepuppy" will be turning 2!

I've alrady got my pressie early too! Special thanks to Janice Thompson from PB&J Designs...HM order me my very own donut bed!

I LOVE IT!! I curl up every night while they watch tv. It's so cozy and soft! Janice custom make each bed with whatever kind of pattern/colour you like!! HM decided on basic black, as it goes with everything! Including me!! BOL!

Fast n' Furry!

Hellllllo pups! Hope you all had as pawesome a weekend as I did!!

I've been given a great opportunity to tryout for a dog sport performance demo team! It's called Fast n' Furry. They will perform cool agility and flyball races at various sport shows and festivals around the city.

Today was the first practice/tryout.

I'm very green compared to most of the dogs there today, but I got lots of great training and turns at all the games set up.

I LOVE going through tunnels!! I learned a cool sequence to go over 4 flyball jumps into a curved tunnel.

There was a super cute 12 week old Border Collie pup that was sooooo smart! We did a series of barrels to run around, and this little puppy had the moves down!! I've got LOTS of practicing to do! BOL!

Here I am with HM practicing the motion of getting around a "barrel".

Here I am running around the barrel

Both HM and I are completely pooped! But man what a great day! (I ditched agility for this today...sorry Brandi!)
