Sleeping In

Most humans like to do this on the weekend. It can be confusing to us pups who are used to a routine of getting up early when our humans go to work during the week. My human in particular was not very happy with me today.

See, during the week, I don't like to get up early...she has to wake me at 7:00am to walk and feed me before she leaves.

But for some reason on the weekends....I'm walking them up at 6:00am!! But today...today was the last straw for her. She didn't come to get me when I called. She made me wait until 7:45am!!! Talk about cruelty!! She can sleep later!! It's not my problem her and human dad were up late on Saturday night!!

What about you pups? What are your sleeping routines like??

You lucky dog. I have to get up at 5:30 on weekdays if I want to eat. :-(

On weekends I get up at 7:00, but after feeding me, my girl goes right back to bed. I don't care... I snuggle up and take another nap.

We still get up at 6:30 am to be walked because of Mia. Gibbon on the other hand could sleep until Noon if he could - LOL! Poor thing slinks further into the covers and I have to try and fish him out. ha ha!

Simba, 7:00 a.m. weekdays? Now that's what I call sleepin' in late! I'm 5:30 a.m. seven days a week...and if my pawrents want to sleep in on the weekends, well they can do that (with me under the covers) once I've been out and filled my tummy with a good breakfast!!! After all, it's all about me! You'd better get a handle on this now, 'cause it'll only be more difficult to train Mommy & Daddy if you let them get away with it now...

Simba, 7:00 a.m. would be called sleepin' in late for me. Seven days a week I'm up at 5:30 a.m. On weekends, if my pawrents want to sleep in, they can do it on their own time: first there's my outside stroll, then breakfast to fill the tummy, then off to bed.
Sim, don't let your Mommy & Daddy break training...I'm telling you, let them get away with it once and they'll be more difficult to train later down the road. After all, it's all about us!
