My Pal Dude!

So the new "un-official" dog park near our apartment is a fully fenced ball park. IT ROCKS!! There is lots of action every night with some great dogs! Meet my pal Dude. Dude is a Goldendoodle (even though he looks mostly retriever).
We have become great friends! He loves to play "catch me if you can" and we just have lots of fun together!
HM got some video of us together...we got a hold of a water bottle and were playing tug of war with it.

Dog Show Fun...Without ME!
HM went to a dog show today...without ME! Whatever..I went to HG's (Human Gramma!) house and had fun without her!
So anyway, here are some pics she came back with. She apologizes as she only had her cell phone to take pics with. She said she fell in love with a few breeds and is thinking I need a fur-sib next year. We'll see.
Her favourites? The German Shorthaired Pointer, Saluki, Blue Picardy Spaniel, Irish Terrier, Brussels Griffon and the Norfolk Terrier.

Tour de Dog - Blog of the Day!
Hi pups, please take the time to visit David and Chiva's blog: Tour de Dog. They are on a biking journey across the US (with recent stops here in Ontario, Canada!) and are raising money and awareness for shelters and their services!
Bravo you two!!

PawsWay Pet Discovery Centre

HM and I spent a pawtastic afternoon at the new PawsWay Pet Discovery Centre! It's dog-friendly and has LOTS of cool information and interactive activities for humans and dogs! The Purina Canada Pet Hall of Fame is located there too!

HM also loved the fact there is a cafe that allows dogs to sit inside by the tables too! So she had an early dinner and I got a free cookie too! If you are in the Toronto area...get your humans to take you to PawsWay!

Opposing Views: Should We Keep Pets?
This is an interesting website: Opposing Views. They pick a topic and have experts weigh in with a "for" "against" online debate.
Check out their latest topic: Should We Keep Pets. Argued between Human Society of United States and law professor Gary L. Francione.
